2025 NFL draft: Bills host CB Jacob Parrish on pre-draft visit

2025 NFL draft: Bills host CB Jacob Parrish on pre-draft visit

The Buffalo Bills hosted Kansas State cornerback Jacob Parrish on a pre-draft visit according to the 21-year-old’s Instagram account.

This marks the sixth cornerback who has reportedly made a pre-draft visit with the Bills as the team continues to do their homework at the position.

Unlike other cornerbacks that the Bills have hosted, Parrish projects to play in the slot, given his exceptional athleticism. His skillet directly translates to having a specialty in many coverage, and he played the fourth-most man snaps among the CB class.

He showcased his freakish speed, quickness, and jumping ability at the NFL Combine, which made his draft stock rise.

He finished in the 70th percentile or better in vital cornerback testing categories, posting a 40-yard dash time of 4.35 seconds (93%), a 10-yard split of 1.51 seconds (82%), a vertical of 37.5” (70%), and a 10’9” broad jump (89%).

According to Pro Football Focus, Parrish played mostly out wide, receiving a 69.1 grade across 470 snaps. And although he only played 91 snaps in the slot in 2024, he performed much better, receiving a grade of 77.7.

Parrish has started each game over the last two seasons (24 games), recording a combined 94 tackles, 6 TFLs, 5 interceptions, and 19 passes defensed. The two-time Big-12 honorable mention now heads into the NFL draft projected as a Day 2 pick.

The Bills have two picks towards the end of the second round (56 and 62), making Parrish a possibility with one of them, and they have two fourth-round picks if he were to slide.

Given that the Bills have an immediate need for an outside corner as Rasul Douglas remains a free agent, it is interesting that they would take an extended look at a player who projects to play in the slot at the NFL level. The Bills have Taron Johnson under contract through 2027, but there is an out after 2025 ahead of his thirty-year-old season in 2026.
