Edwardsburg's softball got some revenge on Saturday and earned some hardware at Three Rivers High School.
The Eddies earned their third straight Division 2 district title after upending two-time defending state runner-up Vicksburg, 7-6, in the finals.
Edwardsburg, which had lost to the Bulldogs the past two years in the regional semifinals, scored six runs in the fourth inning against Vicksburg.
The hitting standout for the Eddies was Lani Hardin, who drove in two runs.
Edwardsburg advanced into the championship game after edging Dowagiac, 4-3, in the semifinals.
Hardin collected a three-run single in a four-run third inning for the Eddies.
Dowagiac, which came into the game with a 31-3 record, beat Edwardsburg twice during the regular season.
The Eddies will take a 23-16 record into their regional semifinal game on Saturday against Paw Paw. The game will start at 10 a.m. and take place at Lakeshore High School.
